Sir Peter Mason, KBE
Sir Peter Mason was appointed to the Board on 22 January 2003 as the Senior Independent Director. He is also a member of the Audit and Nominations committees.
He retired as Chief Executive Officer of AMEC plc in September 2006 and prior to that held a number of appointments in the engineering and construction industry including Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Balfour Beatty Ltd.
Sir Peter is currently Chairman of Thames Water, a non-executive director of Acergy S.A., sits on the Board of the 2012 Olympic Delivery Authority and is a member of the Treasury/DTI Asia Task Force.
