Color cockpit television sensor (CCTVS)
The F-16 color cockpit television sensor is based on proven technology from our cockpit television sensor, in service on more than 30 types of aircraft in 28 nations. The CCTVS is an exact form, fit and function replacement for the current BAE Systems monochrome heads-up display (HUD) Camera. More than 2,500 systems have been delivered to date.
CCTVS cameras come with a number of significant operational enhancements that make this system the benchmark design for reliable mission video recording. These include a higher resolution color imaging sensor and expanded low-light night time performance, both ensuring superior quality, versatility and dependability in the most challenging operations. The CCTVS, an ideal support tool for tactical, surveillance and training missions, is flying on more than 400 F-16s worldwide.
