Link 16 terminals are produced by Data Link Solutions, a joint venture of BAE Systems and Rockwell Collins. Link 16 terminals provide situational awareness for a variety of users.
The first generation of terminals Class 2, 2H, 2M and the second generation MIDS fighter data link and low volume terminals are completely interoperable. These features make Link 16 the prime data link for U.S. and NATO forces.
