Design and Simulation of Fibre Optic Networks

This capability is based on a Fibre-Optic Ray Tracing Programme (FORP) modelling Tool for short haul, multi-mode fibre-optic systems (typical of aerospace).

The behaviour of these multimode systems are notoriously difficult to predict especially when multiple elements are configured into arbitrary arrangements. This custom developed tool enables the detailed optical performance of multimode optical devices to be modelled precisely as part of the design process for local networks. This tool is especially suited to local networks such as those in vehicles.
