Sanders and Panola County Co-Op have been partnering since 1988 to provide quality input products to farmers in north Mississippi. “We’ve been working together for 25 years now and have determined that we can create more efficiency for our customers if we combine our businesses,” said Gill Corban, Area Operations Manager for Sanders’ North Mississippi Delta Division. “This acquisition and our continued relationship will allow us to continue our expansion in north Mississippi and provide a complete line of quality farm input products and services to our grower customers.”
Sanders Batesville will be managed by Jerry Hudson and will remain located at 725 Highway 6 West, Batesville, Mississippi 38606. The current employees of Panola County Co-Op will retain their positions under the new Sanders ownership. “Sanders is very pleased with the recent purchase of this long-established, respected business and welcomes its staff to our family,” said Jerry Hudson. “We have enjoyed an excellent working relationship with Panola County Co-Op for many years, and we are confident that the farmers it served so well will experience a seamless transition and continue to receive efficient, competitive and timely service.” Sanders will continue to provide high-quality merchandise for farmers, livestock producers, and outdoor and wildlife enthusiasts.
